I have a whisper fusion and it was a Springer...it was shelved for about two years...lately I took it out and tried to use the rifle...it shot all over the place...The scope had to be tuned in every so now and then. I lately got the gamo piston installed at Gamo SA (Dion and Ugi) what a pleasure. Where ever you place the cross hairs of the scope, the rifle delivers a precision shot. 50 yards I have been shooting 2 litre bottle caps of at ease. The recoil is very low, and you still feel the thump of a real kick back, without the feeling of a uncontrolled spring in the gun. The Gamo Piston is smooth and lots of fun to with. I really do recommend the conversion. It's feeling awesome...Well done Gamo and Gamo SA!read more

Hi all, I want to share some feedback on my Gamo CFX that I recently had converted to gas ram and had a trigger job done. Thanks to Gamo SA, Dion Moodley and the team served me professionally and the turnaround time was quick. The rifle before had a very mechanical sound to it when cocking and one could feel the rings of the spring compressing. It had a heavy recoil which was ok for open sight however the minute you mounted a scope you'd have a day of trying to set it and a frustration 2nd to none. I waited anxiously for the weekend to get an opportunity to test it out, I was so impressed with the results and the feel of the rifle. Recoil had reduced considerably and cocking was smooth and effortless, the trigger too was crisp and a light squeeze is all you needed. The best thing was the improvement on accuracy and the scope remained true, set it and continued to get better and better grouping. Thanks Gamo SA, Dion and Ugi. I'm super stoked with my rifle. You can see the improvement as I set the scope.read more
